เจ้าแพะชอบโกหกทำให้สัตว์อื่นเดือดร้อน สัตว์ทั้งหลายจึงพากันไปปรึกษาพ่อมด พ่อมดจึงมีความเห็นว่า “เราน่าจะทำให้เหมือนกับว่า ไม่มีเจ้าแพะอยู่ในโลกนี้ ไม่ต้องพูดกับมัน”
山羊喜欢对动物说谎来抓弄它们。所有动物就和男巫商讨，男巫建议说：“我们应该把山羊当成不存在在这个世界上，不要和山羊说话”。
The goat liked to lie and torment the wild animals. All of the animals went to take counsel with a wizard. The wizard suggested “We should pretend that there isn’t a goat in this world. We shouldn’t speak to the goat.”

หลังจากนั้นสัตว์ทั้งหลายก็ไม่พูดกับเจ้าแพะเลย ทำให้เจ้าแพะร้องไห้ออกมา
从此之后，动物们就不和山羊说话，让山羊哭了起来。
Afterwards, the wild animals didn’t speak with the goat. The goat then started to cry.

พวกสัตว์ป่าสงสารแพะ จึงบอกว่า “ถ้าเจ้าไม่โกหกพวกเราอีก เราจะเล่นกับเจ้านะ"
动物们都很可怜山羊，就对山羊说：“你不要再说谎了，我们就和你玩”。
The wild animals took pity on the goat. So, they said to the goat “If you don’t lie, we shall speak with you again.”

“จ้ะ ฉันสัญญา”แพะพูด แต่เจ้าแพะก็ไม่รักษาสัญญา อดที่จะพูดโกหกไม่ได้
“好的，我保证”。山羊说，但是山羊没有遵守约定，过不了多久又说谎了。
“Yes, I promise.” The goat said. But the goat did not keep his promise.

 พวกสัตว์ป่าก็พากันไปปรึกษาพ่อมดอีกครั้ง “เจ้าแพะไม่รักษาสัญญา”สัตว์ป่าเอ่ยขึ้น
动物们又来和男巫商讨一次。“山羊不遵守约定”动物们说。
Wild animals went to take counsel with the wizard again. “The goat didn’t keep his promise” the wild animals said.
พ่อมดโกรธมากที่เจ้าแพะไม่รักษาสัญญา พ่อมดจึงสาปให้แพะเป็นใบ้
男巫很生气山羊不遵守约定，男巫才把山羊变成哑巴。
The wizard was very angry. The goat didn’t keep his promise so the wizard put a spell on the goat and made him dumb.

นิทานเรื่องนี้สอนให้รู้ว่า ไม่ควรโกหก
这个故事告诉我们不要说谎。
This story teaches us not to lie.
